About Pop-Up PfA

At Pop-Up PfA, we believe that preparing young people for adulthood should be practical, meaningful, and rooted in real life.

Founded by Tracy Arrowsmith, an experienced SEND educator, careers and life skills lead, former Local Authority SEND adviser, and job coach, Pop-Up PfA was created from a passion for helping young people develop the skills they need to thrive beyond school and college.

With over 20 years of experience supporting young people with physical disabilities, autism, SEMH, cognition and learning, and speech, language and communication needs, Tracy understands how structured routines, visual supports, and personalised scaffolding build confidence, independence, and the strategies needed for future success.

This inspired the creation of a bespoke Preparation for Adulthood programme, designed to help schools strengthen their offer through engaging, hands-on workshops delivered directly in their setting.

Each session is carefully planned to develop essential skills for independent living, community participation, and future employment — from laundry and household maintenance to organisation, problem-solving, and workplace readiness.

Our aim is simple: to make Preparation for Adulthood visible, purposeful, and achievable for every young person.
